Exterior aluminum shutters have slats, which are powder coated and filled with polyurethane foam, which leads to good thermal and sound insulation.
The usual width is 37 mm.
Upon request, the roller can be driven manually or motorized and by remote control, may be simple or with incorporated mosquito net. Motoring runs only rollers while the net is operated manually.
Outer roll assembly is applied after the window installation. Installation is done by applying on the outside (outside case type).
Overlapping aluminum exterior shutters are mounted fixed with the brickwork above the window frame (roll assembly is recommended to run concurrently with the installation of the window).
